I have had trouble with my Whale Submersable Water pump and considering changing it for an inline pump. The two options are Whale Smartflo or a Shurflo. Has anybody had any experience of installing a pump?

Denis,it depends on your system. If its pressurised you may need a non-return valve close to the point of entry to the van. Make sure you connect into the pipework before any tee off to different parts of the van and water heater. Take the opportunity to upgrade to the highest rated pump for greatest flow Above all remember if its awkward to fit it will be a devil to maintain

Good luck

We have a new Avondale Argente 650-6, which is fitted as standard with a sureflo water pump, which is much more, efficient regarding water flow rates. The only draw back is a slight noise inside the van. Maybe worth you having a look at the water system inside a show van, the pump and tank are located under the front off side bench seat.
