Water Sitting on Roof

Hello all,

would there be any benefit of leaving my Caravan at a slight angle when stored either side to side or front to back, so that the water that sits on the Roof runs off? thanks Kim.

Yes Kim, many of us lower the jockey wheel so that the front of the caravan is lowered.

With less water lying around the likelihood of water ingress is lessened to some extent, there will be less green algae to clean off your roof after the water has gone and fewer black streaks to clean off.

If you have corner steady locks lower the nose, lower and lock the rear corner steadies and hitching up will take a few minutes longer if anybody tries to steal your caravan although it wouldn't stop them altogether unfortunately

i tilt the van to get a run off of water to prevent pooling.take care not to overdo it if you have tilt on your vans alarm system.
