Yes, you can fit a float valve into a Waterhog. However the actual cap from an Aquaroll may not fit a Waterhog.
The float valve is fitted through a hole in the cap so, you take your existing cap or buy another and using the correct size hole-cutter make a hole in the cap and fit the valve through it.
You can buy the float valves online but check around because prices vary considerably for exactly the same thing. I bought my last one from eBay for less than £10.
Unless you know for certain that the Aquaroll cap will fit your Waterhog, don't buy the dedicated Aquaroll kit which includes the cap, just buy the float valve itself. It will come with all the necessary nuts and sealing washers.

A tip for anyone buying an aqua roll to use the float system, make sure you get one that has the cap on the top that is big enough so that you can get your hand inside so you can reach down to keep the float in the correct position while you are tightening the cap, I gave the purchaser of my previous caravan as I wanted to get a new one, I found out too late that some aqua rolls have caps that are smaller and your hand won’t go through and keeping the float in the right orientation is a pain in the butt

If you look to purchase a generic kit I think you will find that different size caps are included to fit different manufacturers of water barrels. It is important to see that the float stays in ‘active’ position while tightening the cap but I have never needed to reach inside the barrel - in my case an aqua roll.

If you set the threaded part of the float, where it fits the screw cap it should always line up inside the aquaroll or waterhog, takes a bit of fiddling to get it right but once it's done you just screw the cap on and float should be in the right position, occasionally I check with a torch but never had to adjust it.
