We are back!

Hi everyone,

We are back at last! This time with a 2002 Swift Challenger 530. Picking up the van 1st weekend of november and all ready to tow with our 2004 Freelander Sport auto.

We cant wait to get back, only been away for a year but it feels like a lifetime!

Welcome back!

Will you be winter tugging?
Caravanning is a wonderful hobby with so much to see and do. I'm nor surprised you missed it.
Enjoy your maiden trip

Welcome back into the fold and congratulations on buying your Swift Challenger.
I hope that the handover goes smoothly, are you going to use your new caravan during the cold weather?
Some of the permanent caravanners like Steve in Leo could offer you some good advice for cold weather caravanning.

Yes, we intend to use all over winter so any winter advice appreciated.

We love the outdoors, along with our two young children and two dogs we intend to spend as much time as possible over winter in the van!

After much persuasion Herself agreed to give cold weather caravanning a try a couple of years ago and our first trip of the year now takes place in mid February and we use the caravan until mid November.
I haven't managed to persuade her to go away in the caravan over the new years holiday, new years eve etc (Christmas is a no-no because of family commitments) but I'm working on it.
First tip, use propane lpg because butane doesn't work in cold weather.
