Is anyone still planning to go away this weekend what with the weather? If so where do you plan on going?
 
Sadly can't get the time off work. Would be off like a shot otherwise.

We went away for New Year 2005 to 2006 and the snow was really bad (or fantastic depending on your point of view!) and had a superb time. Did loads of walking with dog and returned to lovely warm van.

There something really cosy about looking out on pure white snow from a nice warm interior.

If you can go for it - i will be green but none the less happy for you.
 
York. Last time we tried - 4? 5? weeks ago - we were turned away due to floods. Lets see what happens this time. Taking wellies just in case.
