Its probably me, I'm not very computer savvy.

Every time I look at a topic I have to scroll down to read all the postings. If I don't wish to ad any comment I then have to scroll back to the top to hit the back to forum button. Could't there be one below the last posting

On the recent political posting though quite interesting battle between the hard core and moderators it took me some 2 days to scroll back to the beginning.

On longer threads you can click on the green return button at the top left of your screen

At the top of your screen where it says File Edit View History etc

look just underneath on the left is a large arrow facing left and a smaller arrow facing right.

The large left arrow is 'return'.

We have no control over the web site design. I'm not too sure that Haymarket does either

hi ian

the forum engine is very old and can be a pain sometimes it is very slow to react and is the reason you sometimes get double posts and weird things that happen from time to time.

you can get round some problems like the one you describe by using a scroll mouse one click and use the wheel to move up or down the page or by holding the wheel down with the curser at the top of the page the text will go back to the top on it own.

also if you are writing a longish post or have to breakoff in the middle the session can time out before submitting and the post is lost (very annoying) you can write the post using word or notepad and copy and paste it to the post message tab when completed.
