Hi all, All things are supposed to turn out for the best and for a reason. Sometimes that is hard to see, when you are in the depths of dark times. When my wife died back in 2009 my 6 year old daughter and I were shell shocked to say the least. Everyone on this site were very supportive and I appreciated it. We continued to go away and luckily changed the van for another 6 berth! Sally and her team at Kenmore were also supportive with the number of prices I asked for and the general indecission in which van to have. Eventually a close friend came with me to support me in my final decission. On collection day she and her two lovely daughters came with me to collect the van.

On the 6th of June we'll all be togther again just like that collection day, as we get married and continue as we have done for the last year as one big happy family. We're going away locally for a few days before then coming home for the day, after tea we're leaving the girls at home with grandma and going back to the van for our one night honeymoon.

I may be a bit quiet that week as far as the forum goes!!!

As long as you don't have a Disco at the wedding you will be alright. After all you don't want to get stuck on honeymoon. LOL!

Congratulations!
From all the team here at Practical Caravan, we wish you all the best on your special day and for the future. We are so pleased to hear things have turned out well after such a tough period.
Great to also know you are honeymooning in style! Send us some pictures of the big day and honeymoon. We would love to share your tale and run it as a letter in the next issue if you are happy to do so.

Best wishes, Stacie

Don't worry she does at least half the towing, all the lifting, helps with awning, gets van level oh and most importantly trundles off to the elsan point at regular intervals, and like someone else I take the dowgs for final wees as she makes the bed up!!

There won't be many pics from the honeymoon as it's only one night, followed by packing up and coming home to the peeps and dowgs!

So the Landy and Amara will be shining and the interior filled with flowers.

Aren't youngsters great today. Lucky you.

If SWMBO can't empty the loo I guess she will qualify as a Lady or Dame of The Woosie Round Table and will need a T Shirt for the next Woosie gathering

Swmbo does though, nearly all the time!! says it's nicer than bed pans (not that she's been on the wards for years!) Hmmmmmm got a ribbon but should really be dirty after all it's not a bling machine!!!! I suppose I'll be happier washing the car in the morning than being indoors with "hair" going on!!!!! Their jobs seem to stop at water related tasks and dowg walking! Still a help!! Having said that it was so windy in N Devon at easter we had one each end and one in the middle holding the awning down while we did poles!!

Thanks to everyone for their messages. We had a wonderful day and enjoyed every moment!!! It kept dry all the time we needed it to as well which was a huge bonus!! What wasn't so great was the fridge refused to work all the time we were away so hopefully C'man will sort that when it goes to the factory to be dried out next week!!
