Weekend Break (Recommendations)

Hi Folks,

We are looking for a weekend away in the van with my sister and brother-in-law in their's. Can anybody recommend a nice quite site with a pub attached that serves nice food. somewhere about 50/75 miles radius of Cardiff would be great.

You could try Plough lane caravan site (its adults only) just off j17 m4 at swindon loveley site we are off there to-morrow for a few days , this is the 3 rd time we have been there and the pub is less than 5 mins walk away

Give Arrobank caravan park at Eardisland a try.

Nice quiet site no play ground. Good facilities.

Also two pubs within ten mins walk in the village serving a varied and very good menu. The swan will even do their menue as take away for you, if you prefer. Leominster is 5 miles away and Hereford 15 miles. Also Ludlow castle is 12 miles away.

Thanks for your replies. We spent a fantastic long weekend at Riverside Caravan Park, Stratford Upon Avon, the site is only a mile from the centre of Stratford. The site is right on the river avon and you can get a river taxi into Stratford for
