How long did it take to get a new side panel ? My experience with another UK make of van a few years ago was a nightmare.

My van is a old aluminum van so i'll just be removing the affected wood from the pannel and rebonding new to it.

Well i've started and found so much shocking patch work done it's crazy. Already ordered new end caps for the wasteband and awning rail and also new infil for both. I've decided to do the whole van to ensure it's 100% tight and it seems someone liked to use a silicon gun far to much on it :(

Once cleaned up i'll be removing the affected wood from the 2 damp areas and rebonding new.

Slowly getting there. Ripped all the rotten wood out last night. Now i need to get the generator down there to use the powertools on it tomorrow.

The van is looking sorry for its self atm but it's just the same as anything that has plastic surgery.

I've got some sample wallboards coming this week so i can match up the boards to the existing ones and will be ordering the new window seals tonight and also looking into replacing the old tired looking external vents. Also nipped out to the wood shop and picked up some replacement beams that i'll treat before fitting just incase.
