We went to the show on Friday. We agree with everyone and were not impressed. We had our money back. The show is put on by the dealers. The people who were supposed to supply accessories didn't show.My question is-how can it be improved next year? We need a show in Wales. No negatives please.

It has to be down to the organisers failing to get interest from people who run stands and also from people who will visit, you need both to make it work.

We live just across the channel in Bristol and had heard nothing about it. Until it improves we will be sticking with the NEC shows.

I believe the Shepton Mallet motorhome show can be quite good but that probably does not help you as it is no easier than the NEC to get to if you live in Wales.

Gerakd - you have asked the $64000 question "how can it be improved?" I have been to previous caravan shows when it was held in Sophia Gardens and also to the Welsh Motor Show and The South Wales Classic Car Show at Pencoed. I do not attend these shows now as the dispalys are not worth the rediculous monies charged for entry. The caravan show and the motor show must realise that these shows are there purely as a sales drive and therefore must considerably reduce entry fee or better still no entrance fee. They are there at our expence and then make a profit on top of it by completing their sales. If they want our money then they must make a financial sacrifice themselves. As it is they want the penny, bun and the change.

The classic car show is there to display and not necessary sell their products - there are some vehicles for sale and also autojumble stalls. In this instance I can understand charging an entry fee but not what they are charging.

Shows of this nature in south Wales are generally best avoided as they are a rip off for Joe Public and his family.
