Hi

Looking for a (secure)site close to the beach that will suit someone with a walking disability .Gets tired.

Also looking for a secure storage site in the area.

I would be grateful for any suggestions.

There are a multitude of storage sites in and around WSM, This one looks as though it provides undercover storage.

I don't know of any sites which are close to the beach in Weston but it is possible to drive onto the beach at Brean Sands as long as you don't leave your vehicle unattended when the tide comes in or stray into the soft estuary mud past the warning markers. There are several well run caravan parks in Brean which have full facilities for the less able.

Our favourite us Holiday Resort Unity which is a large well equipped full facility site offering generous discounts for over 50s.

Theres also a good storage site up at the far end of Brean,right opposite the beach.

Its called "Channel View,Brean Farm"

Have stayed on their site quite a few times and booked a pitch right up by the sea wall with the view overlooking the beach.

Lovely pitch but the toilet/shower facilities are very basic.

They appear to be "CASSOA" registered too.

just got back from the unity site ,it was brill ,the facilities were excellent and the wardens very helpful,

A great recommendation , it ticked all the boxes many thanks from us both.
