Have problem woth leakage on external socket with pump connected and switched on. Drips when pump not running and dribbles considerably when it is.
This seems to drop pressure in system and cause pump to re-run at about 3 minute intervals even with all taps closed.
All internal piping and joints checked and are sound
IC module calibrates correctly
O rings in socket appear to be in good condition and and have had only normal use for about 150 days in year from new.

Any suggestions please as to source of leak other than O rings, or short term fix if O rings are worn. Currently in rural France and for next month, touring so difficult to get spares sent even if I could find supplier on line. No reference to part number etc. in whale instruction book.

150 days use for the "O" rings is high so replace them if you can - ensure they're lubricated with vegetable oil or silicone oli - NEVER petroleum products like Vaseline or WD40.

Whale connector blocks have been known to leak internally - the hose stretches in use and fails to seal - cut back the stretched section and reassemble using superglue.

To try and get you through your holiday, if you ease one of the O rings off the pump and go to any garage and see if they have a similar sized one you could purchase.
Most garages should have a box of different sized O rings.

could you remove O rings and put a few turns of cotton around the recess then refit to push O rings out a little more til you can get some new ones.PTFE tape would be better but you would be lucky to have a Castorama or similar near

Thanks everyone for ideas. i think I've noe traced the problem to the non return valve in the socket failing to close completely possibly due to the very hard water at the site in Spain leaving a bit of lime scale. The system comes uo to pressure and pump stops, but the small leakage back through the NRV then causes pump to start again and so on. A bit tricky to get at to clean, but I've now got the leakage down to accepable limits so can concentrate on other liquid flow matters e.g vin en fontaine.

if it's out of reach limescale immerse the whole unit in white spirit vinegar overnight. Rinse. You should find all the scale has been dissolved.
