whale touch and toe

Hi Adrian,

Do you mean the old-fashioned foot activated pump? If so, we have one, too and each time we reach a site and get set up, my husband crawls under the unit to reach the pump and hand pumps the water through, using the rubber bulb. I can't press hard enough, which is why he does it. Once it is primed, it works fine on the 12v.

hi jo,yes thats the one, looks like ill be going under the van then,is it easy enough to prime?does the missus have to do anything in the van to help?or do you just leave the tap open?thanks, adrian

Sorry, Adrian, I'm getting you confused. Our pump is under the kitchen unit - there's a little flap below the cupboard next to the sink. Leave the tap open and press the rubber bulb on the pump a few times with the flat of your hand. Once primed, it will work with the foot pedal.
