What clothes do i take for portugal winter?

Hi

We are touring southern Portugal this winter and would like advice on whether i should be thinking mainly summer or winter

clothing? (I gather i will need wet weather gear!)

My wardrobe is only so big so any advice from seasoned travellers would be much appreciated

Hi Nicky,

As long as you stay south of Lisbon a tee shirt and shorts is normally enough during the day.

At night there is unlikely to be frost, unlike in Spain, but some heating in the van morning and evening may be necessary.

Some winters are wet, others are not, its unpredictable.
