what do you put your flag on

hi,its my birthday,and the boss(wife)has got me a nice flag to fly,what do you hang yours on.seen them on some sort of pole,but not looked closely,so can anyone tell me what they put theirs on,and where to get them from,thanks,adrian

I fly mine on a twenty foot aluminum flag pole,

go on to Ebay and enter flag pole, you`ll find alsorts, to suit every one.

We use a fibreglass telescopic casting pole(i think thats what it is called) this is very light and fits in the gas locker easily.You could try ebay or large caravan rallies for good prices or a fishing shop.We attach it using a wooden clamp to hold it parallel to the jockey wheel and it sits on a small piece of plywood held by the weight of the jockey wheel with a hole for the bottom of the pole to go in.

Dont wanna wind anyone up here, but why would you want a flag pole on your caravan for? I`ve seen loads of tourers used as statics with them on.

Go to any large caravan rally and you will see loads of flags and flying objects. We use ours on the large rallies so the kids know where their caravan is, amazing how they all look the same to a 10 year old! We put a bumble bee on the top, so far no one has the same. They make a bee line!!!!!!!! straight to their caravan. It works for us. Mark
