I reckon a group of caravans should be a camel of caravans as a group of camels is called a caravan of camels so seems fair really we return the favour?

Tents are known as "Rag Huts". and Caravans as "Tin Huts"

Therefore caravans are known as a bevy of Tin Huts

Robin - surely a group of drivers would be called a golf club - or would that be a group of nutters - oops sorry should be putters
