What are the options availible to fix the wheel arch draught skirt, with my other van I simply replaced the screws with poppers/studs.
This is not an option on this van. any ideas please?
hi gagkev, we simply stuck some rubber suckers on the caravan over the wheel, the ones u can hang yr xmas lights on with , the ones we have have a small metal hook on them we pushed the wheel cover through the hook and stuck it on , stayed put from march to october no problem.Hope that helps.
Used suckers but they have left marks which I think I will have to use Tcut to remove so now use grey tape from Screwfix which leaves no residue. You can also glue the pressstud on with two pack adhesive but I don't fancy anything that permanent
Kev i made my own have a look at the adria wheel arch pannel i made mine out off a bit off white facia board like on the front of your house.Put some catches on the back sprayed it gray looks the same as the real one but did not cost £100.like adria one.Put the fig8 along bottom dont do the photo thing to thick but on a adria site ie venture caravans you may be able to see one and work it out your self so easy and a great idear.
kev pratical caravan mag report 2011 new adora wheel arch cover you work it out from the pics facia board easy to cut and strong and light put 3 small holes in under face of wheel arcH .Holes at 12 oclock 3 and 9 on back off made cover 3 small alloy bolt latches lie the ones you put on a gate but about 2 inch long 79p wilkos each and then put fig 8 along bottom just right fit.
I will get mrs gump to take some pics off the said bit and get to e mail them to you but it wont be before the week end as van is in storage so dont hold you breath bed time for me.
