wheel cap

does anybody know where I can find old type hub caps which knock on to the wheel centre of an older type caravan? my wheels are solid with no holes to attach zip ties to the modern trims.any help will be appreciated. regards Jeff

I have the same wheels, Jeff and I had the same problem trying to keep my trims on. The first thing I tried was to use those sticky pads for tie wraps, sticking 4 directly onto the solid wheels and the tie wraps thru them and around the trip. However, after a few wet drives, they still came off.

So I followed the advice of another member of my forum which was....

Remove the centre caps of the wheels and drill a 4mm hole in the exact centre of each. Feed a long 3.5 or 4mm bolt thru the hole from the inside and place a couple of nuts on to lock it tight. Refit the centre caps.

Drill a small hole in the exact centre of the wheel trims, fit to the wheel allowing the bolt to feed thru the hole of the trims and affix a couple of nuts to lock it on.

I've never lost a trim since I did this.
