Thinking of buying a new van but before descending on the dealers I would like to know does a spare wheel have to come out of our weight allowance? We have problems keeping within in our current 220 payload and wouldn't want to use much of that for a spare.

Kate, do you not think that the extra weight of a spare wheel is fully justified? If you are unfortunate enough to have a punture, it could save you a lot of time and expence for the extra weight of approx 20Kgs. As with the car, I wouldnt leave without a spare in good condition. Throw out the Microwave or something else you only use occasionaly.
