Wheelbrace

I managed to clip a kerb going into (I think ) Chester services and took a chunk out of the sidewall of one of my tyres. The services have blocked their normal caravan parking and direct you around a very tight right hand turn making it imposible for a twin axle to get round without mounting the kerb. I didnt notice the damage until we arrived on site so luckily it didnt blow when travelling.

So out comes the spare , jack and wheelbrace and guess what , the wheelbrace supplied with the caravan from new is too BIG .

Praise to Mayday for coming out within 20 mins even though they knew it was not an emergency

and gentlemen please before you venture out make sure you have the correct equipment to tighten your nuts. ;O)

Hi Brian

I think Mayday provide an excellent service despite the 'dogs in cabs at drivers discretion' fiasco.

Don't forget Brian, it's not only chaps who tow (but I do agree it's up to them to ensure they have the correct equipment).

Lisa
