wheele clamps

hi guys, i have a melenco wheele clamp that is about five years old and therefore a little rusty which makes it difficult to put on and take off. i do not want to cover it with grease because it goes in the back of the car when traveling, but any other ideas how i can make it easier.

I dont know what clearances you have with your wheel clamp, but if you strip all the paint off & remove all the rust repaint it with hammerite

Hi Geoff Milenco say not to use oil or grease but to use spray polish if lubrication is needed
