Where to park up near Ferndown (Dorset) ?

We are spending the weekend mid Jan, at The Wareham Forest Tourist Park site in Dorset, and shall return through Ferndown (north of Bournemouth). I have a family function to attend in Ferndown and need to park and unhitch my caravan and leave it for around 5-6 hours, before returning home to Kent.

Can anyone suggest a parking area (or even a CL?) within (say) 5-10 miles of Ferndown?
