Where's mi Grommet Gone? (Newbie)

Hi

I won't bore you all with the details but I had reason to remove the rear light assembly from my caravan and on replacing it nicely lined up all the holes with the screws. However one wouldn't screw back in and on removing it again, the rubber grommet (inside which I'm assuming there was some kind of thread) had pushed through onto the inside. Can you get a replacement and is it easy just to push them in or is there some other ingenious way you can provide a thread for the screw to go in, bearing in mind the acrylic skin is only quite thin.

Thanks for your help

Hi

My dealer suggested 'plaster board fixings'........but then again that's why I thought I'd ask the people who really know. Thanks
