Which 4 or 5 berth on a budget?

We are now looking for a suitable 4 or 5 berth Swift or Elddis at around the £3000 - £4000 mark as a first caravan for a family of 4. We will be towing with an Audi A4 avant 1.9 TDi (130bhp). We have looked at so many websites and still don't know what to go for.

Any suggestions?

Please help this novice family find the right van!!

Sound like a really good van you got there.

We have been looking at a 1993 Elddis Cyclone XL 5 berth tonight just round the corner from us and it seems like a fairly good van. There are a few dings on the outside but nothing major and the interior is pretty good.

Like Deborah we were also looking for a first van on a budget. We also looked at plenty of damp, dingy, expensive old vans a lot of which were on dealers forecourts!

In the end we bought a 1992 Lunar Sunbeam (another of the planets range like Deborah's Venus). Its a lightweight van which easily sleeps 5 (2 in the back bunk, 3 in the huge front bed).
