Hi

Picking up my first caravan up next week and can't decide if I need an awning. Seriously considering a porch or lightweight awning as we will be doing lots of short stays.

Which one is best and will fit my Auvergne?

Have been looking at the Sunncamp 390 but know very little about awnings.

Hi Mark

we have a porch awning that we use during the winter and weedends we have a PACK 260, did purchase 360 (not Suncamp) didn't get on with it sent it back as it collapsed twice in three days, but think this is unusual, we also have full awning (Bradcot Classic) which we use when we are out for a week plus.

Hope this helps

Many Thanks for feedback.

I will have a look at the 260's and 360 at the weekend. The place we bought our caravan also sell awnings and have several set up in their shop.

We had a lightweight suncamp. It was fine but no good in windy weather. We gave up and bought a 2nd hand Dorema Toronto porch awning. Far stronger. Bradcot and ultimately Isabella are even better. The Dorema needs two to erect but once up is very secure even in wind.

Unless you really want a new one check out ebay and preloved and al your dealers.

Cheers
