I'm looking to ideally buy just one awning that could be used from Jan - Dec with a tourer - not on a permanent pitch. Can anyone recommend anything? If it's not possible to get a single awning for all-year round use, what's a good winter awning/porch awning? Any tips on what to look out for when comparing awnings would also be useful.

without a doubt___isabella are the best__and they do a winter porch(snow boy lux)dorema do the laser,most other manufactures do similar.tencate or polyester best for winter months,acrylic not so good as polyester in winter.just trawl the net for awnings and see for yourself
Thanks. Been trawling the net for advice but most articles I've found are useless as they are non-committal and give no guidance on the pros/cons of styles/materials. Did try to Goggle 'winter awnings' but didn't find much. Will check out the suppliers you've mentioned. Thanks again.

acryclic is hard wearing and will probably last longer than polyester,polyester is an all round material for both winter and summer but is not 'wear wise' as good as acrylic.acrylic is a cloth while polyester is a plasticy material which water runs off easily.as an all round awning polyester is the way to go imho
Although it is up for sale our bradcot portico XL with easy alloy poles is suitable for all year use. The rear side goes into the awning rail which offers even more rigidity in winter winds. It is larger than many porches due to coming out as far as a full awning. You can also use annexes if you want to extend space for longer breaks
