Which Awning ?

Hi there new to the site,it's my wifes birthday soon and on asking she wants a bigger awning instead of our porch awning which is too small really when going away for a week or so .

So whats the best all rounder eg stability price and of course easy to put up ? cheaper the better as its a birthday presant 🙂

We have a Sunncamp mirage. It was a new awning (2008) supplied with the 'van, but otherwise pretty cheap.

We've only put it up once and it took ages, having never put up an awning before, although I'm confident I'll do it a lot quicker next time - and the poles are numbered, which helped.

Which awnings are easy to put up? As far as I can make out, they're all about fixing a load of poles together and sticking a bit of canvas on top.

We're happy with our Sunncamp - it does everything we want and does it well enough. I can't imagine how the more expensive awnings are going to be a lot better - stronger materials maybe, lighter frames? I don't know.
