Which club?

Hi there. Have just bought our first caravan and its been suggested we join a club to get better prices on sites. I put in a search and two main ones came back 'caravan club' and 'the caravanning and camping club'. Anyone know which is the best?

Congratulations on buying your first caravan.

Both clubs have much to offer for those who are new to caravanning and this topic is aired fairly regularly on caravan forums.

As for 'which is best' that really depends on yourself and your expectations and there will be various answers to the question.

You are allowed to stay on sites belonging to both clubs as a non member, why not give both a try to see which you prefer?

Julie we are members of both this year, we do prefer the Caravan Club from the camping & caravan club but that's our preference others may prefer the C&CC to the CC. l advise you to join both at first, its only

what do you want from a camp site abnd how often do you plan to use them?

Based in S Yorks i found the C&CC sites often a lttle too far for a quick weeekend away when getting home at 6.pm on a Friday.

However there are a plethora of CC sites quite close to me.. so i chiose the CC on that basis.

Am in both to take full advantage of CS's and CL's it opens up a lot more choice for basic facilities at an affordable price!
