This is one of our local sites.

Site is good all round just limited in hard standing, all the service piches on your left as you go in, (back row has trees so can be tricky at times getting tv.) Just after the toilet block is a small section of hardstandings. The rest of teh site is grass. As a rul of thumb the sun comes up over the big road bridge you can see from the site on the A19.and it sets just to the left of the storage yard when you look at it.

Most of the pitches are level and have plenty of space. There is a pub next door (beefeeater type) so can be expensive but is good quality. Nice little nature reserve for a wander along the tees. They are redoing the white watre rafting course so may be some noise.

Asda is round the back within 5 mins walking, or morrisons at the retail park with some restaurants and shops. Big go outdoors nearby for a wander. In the area lots to do, Roseberry topping is a good little walk, Saltburn nice beach Captain cook stuff nearby or head to whitby which ais a lovely drive

Just returned from a weeks holiday it was ok we were on a serviced pitch which meant I did not have to worry about water or waste.
The site is very nice and to be recommended but we did not find that much to do in the surrounding area maybe it was still too early in the year.
As we were leaving on saturday morning the site began to fill up on the friday before so by the time we left it was full all but maybe 10 pitches out of at least 120.
the distance from us was 127 miles it took us 2 hours and 39 minutes driving our average speed was 48 MPH and our fuel consumption was 23.3 MPG
