white water rafting

hi folks ,son (15) wants to do white water rafting , any of you good folk know of any sites in france that do such a thing.... looking forward to your replies already...pete

If you ar happy to go South I would go for Gorge Du Verdon, Rafting and Kayaking and more than enough for any adrenalin junkie.

There's spectacular scenery and lake Ste Croix and you could caravan on or near the coast and be only an hours drive from your lads adventures. The gorge is not exactly a caravanning area ;-)

Ginger Pete, I can endorse Cris's comments re the gorge de Verdun, we did it last year! We stayed a Castellane dont remember the site name but there plenty along the the river at this plesant little town.

Should also mention that we left the town and took the 'route de Napoleone', with a 'van on the back its can only be described as 'character forming'!!
