Instead of flying off in search of warm weather, we're thinking of having a week in the van in February, in this country. Whitemead with it's indoor pool and other facilities looks a good bet. We want quiet (not half term) but with the options a bigger site gives. At £23 per night is Whitemead worth it. All views gratefully received.
 
We had a long weekend at Whitemead in September this year and found it be excellent.

It's very clean, well laid out and the bar and pool are very good. The staff we found were friendly and helpful.

There is access to forest walks and cycle trails just opposite the site entrance.

We thought it was ideal for a early or late season break. we're going back for Easter next year!

looks a lovely site, downloaded their brochure today, tried to book for easter 2008 and they are already booked.

I must have booked just in time a few months ago and are going there for the first time next Easter,we are looking forward to it and being a CSMA member gives a discount on the prices.
