Having seen the post in 'General' about jack winder, got me thinking!
Is Jack Winder the butler we all take with us for adjusting our levels? I've heard of Jack Ass a bit of a donkey, Jack Russell - a bit of a dog, Jack O'Lantern a bit of a Pixie,- Jack Spot of criminal intent,
Jack Tar is a bit wet, - Jack helps with the bowls game, - or Jacks a kids game, Jack the Union one, - Black Jack is quite game, - Jack Plane doesn't fly!, - Montertey Jack is a bit cheesy, Cracker Jack a bit of a stunner, Jack Anory tells stories, - Jack sometimes lives in a box, Jack sometimes killed giants, Jack Knife a cutting fellow, - or something a caravanner can well do without! - Jack & his pal Jill useless water fetchers,, or Jack who grew fabulous beans, - or Jack who makes the connection, Jack Horner - plumb puller. There must be many more "Jacks" --- Who is Jack Winder? Can you help?!

Well that killed that flat! (Jack hammer?)
What was meant to be a 'humorous post' at a time on forum when it's quiet and not much going on.

Made me giggle Sir Gab, reminded me of a normal working day when two colleagues and I had to go to Hinckley point Power Station to work, on the security gate we were asked our names, i duly gave mine and the first colleague replied Mike SNOW and the second Jack FROST, the security chap went mental, me I couldn't stop laughing. He would not believe they were there REAL names. eventually allowed entry over an hour later when he contacted our office.

So Jack Frost could be another cousin to Jack Winder Up :silly:

My surname is bond and I used to work away with a Mr James. You can imagine the hotel receptionists when we rung them and asked for 2 rooms , one for a Mr James and well , you can work it out.
