who use's a caravan cover

Who use's a caravan cover and why, what make do you use? how long have you used it and pro and cons.

We do! It's great. It's a breathable one, not made to measure, and bought from ebay for just

I agree with Val A - we have a similar cover, our van is in storage and we go to the 'van a couple of days before each trip to remove the cover and ready the 'van and take the cover home.

After each trip we do the same in reverse - we always clean the 'van before fitting the cover and it is always spotless when we take the cover off. I wouldn't class this as a 'con' we make an afternoon of it - take a picnic and put the kettle on!

One added pro - I think the cover is also a bit of a deterrent to thieves as they would have to remove the cover, first to see if it's worth nicking, then to tow it away.

Tip - I made a couple of poles with old tennis balls on the end to help lift the cover over the 'van roof and TV aerial/heater chimney.
