"Why are O.A.P Rude?"

They are used to talking to people who have not turned their hearing aids on in an effort to save the batteries.

Good old "Flowery Tw~ts", still the best comedy ever in my books.

Forget all I said previously - elderly man (cannot call him a gentleman) barged to front of queue at Iceland shop today infront of elderly lady and myself. Fair enought we both had quites a bit in our shopping trollies and he only had two items but there was no asking to go ahead or thank you. I did point out that we were all waiting to go through the checkout and had verbal (not swearing) abuse. The elederly lady turned to me and said to ignore the ignorant so and so and let it be as she did not want any fuss. The young lady at the till just ignored everything and put his goods through as if nothing had happened. it takes all types eh what what?

Jeremy - I don't think I am a "bloody kid" - I have taken early retirement and will not see 60 again, although not yet an OAP. Therefore which catergory do I now fall into - "Bloody Kid" or " Grumpy Old Man"? - LOL

I know the answer to that but I fear it would only get deleted by the Mods!
