We use an old fishing rod for our Welsh Flag, we take out the jockey wheel and attach it that way. Or if the washing line is in there, we have a wind breaker up and we attached the fishing rod at the end of the window breaker attaching the rod with tie wraps to the wooden stakes.

Hope this helps? Picked up the rod at a boot sale for

Can all you wind sock fliers please explain why you fly these things outside your caravan. Why not just buy a kite and go to a field.
Funny you should say that, I use to fly a kite when I was younger with my Grandfather who use to come on holidays in our Caravan with my parents, Grandmother and I.

We use to fly the kite for ages, and my grandfather kept sending me down the shop for more string.LOL

The kite would be so far up you had a job to see the it.

Tried it with my own children, but I am sure that are not as good as they use to be.

Anyway this debate been said before.

We fly the Welsh Flag, because we are proud to be Welsh.

It's the same as someone whering a Football/Rugby top/hat to support their favourite team?

Do you ware a Football top because your proud of your team?

I only asked a question out of curiousity so there is no need to get stroppy, my father use to fly a kite with me when I was a child. And in reply to your other question I am proud to be British and yes I do sometimes wear my club Colours.
