Window Blinds

Hi,

I have a Bailey Senator Arizona 2006 model and I have a problem with one of the larger window blinds in so much that if you pull the blind at night or close it when the van is not in use, when you come to open it again it will not roll back in properly and crumples up. Do you know if there is anyway to service the mechanism or retention it. Once you have got it rolled up again it will open and close fine, it only causes a problem when left overnight or longer in the shut position. Is it posible to get any form of service manual for caravans like you can get for cars? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Alan, yes it is possible to re tension the blinds.

At the top left hand side, on the end, which you probably cannot see due to the shrouds around the blind edges, is a couple of tensioners, they need adjusting by turning about 12 turns.

The Caravan Manual , published by Haynes, written by John Wickersham, available in most good book shops is a good place to start.
