window replacement

Happy New Year to each

I’m not quite so sure it’s happy?

While taking my elderly mother-in-law home last night after her fortnightly shopping trip some very nice person decided it would be fun to throw a couple of house bricks at my van! I cannot see were one of them hit but one hit the front middle window and smashed both inner and outer at the corner and then tried to force the window open.

No problem in sealing it i.e. from the weather but not from bugs and small animals. So I’m in the market to buy but from were? And for how much?

So it’s the front middle window

Hi Kelvin
I'm sorry to learn that some malignant swine has damaged your caravan.
You could look online for caravan breakers or
Exhaust Ejector Co. make replacements using the old one as a pattern. It's not cheap though

It may be worth exploring if Miriad can supply a new window.
You will need your van chassis number (VIN) plus the height and width measurements of the window FRAME with the measurement, taken wood to wood, so make allowance for the rubber seal.
Then from the window itself, in one corner should be a small circular label with various numbers in it , take a note of all of them, Miriad will require the Roxite number from them.

If they cannot help, then as Parksy has said, EECO will make a new one to your old one as a pattern, about a 10 day turnaround, so you would need to waterproof the missing wimdow whilst the old window is away.

Probably looking around the £200+ depending on size.

Thank you for your help but could you lower that price by a few quid! Not really good news is it. lol
Not worth taking it through insurance it will be costly in the long run, The gaffer tape will have to do for now. The police and others tend to think it's about money for drugs so they my be back, lets hope I do not catch them!

Thanks again
