i`ve never tried it...but i used to be in the paint trade and know how course it is! i think it may shine it up but it will put lots of fine scratches onto it.Halfords stock a cream specially for it,can`t remember name just now but i will use that if / when the need arises.Dave.

We received a mark across the rear window of our Eriba - don't know how either. And after five years, the other acrylic windows did have a few washing or cleaning fine scratches.

We found just using polish removed all the fine scratches and it also helps prevent misting.

Try this before using any abrasive remedies like T-cut or toothpaste.

It is also worth remembering that brasso is a much finer abrasive then these 2, although I am not sure about any chemicals in it I have used brasso successfully on plastics before.

Just remembered - I have used toothpaste very successfully before now to remove scratches on mobile phone screens and watchfaces.

I still think I would start with polish.
