Hi All

We are currently looking for our first caravan and have looked at various ages and models with no success yet. We were wondering whether we might have a bigger choice during the winter as many people sell/trade-in after the season is finished?

Do you also get slightly better deals from dealers as it is out of season?

Any comments welcomed

Thanks

if you know what kind of van you want, buy private you will get a better deal and more for your money, just make sure you check the van out for any damp ,damage and most importantly the cris details to make sure it is not stolen

Hi Magnus,

If you have not got a part exchange and you have cash you.ll get a good deal just be brave and barter with these dealers especially if you see a caravan you like and the price is near to what you want to pay and if he won,t come down in price walk away, knowing you,ve got cash and no part exchange he,ll come running after you, then name your price or ask him what extra,s come with the caravan,Water carrier, wastemaster(dirty water)electric connection cable, steps etc.If you don,t try you don,t get.Good Luck.Jim
