Hi everyone, i need some guidance or some reexperiences on a caravan suitable to be taken to Finland and then Switzerland for the winter season

We are looking at a good, high end caravan that can help my son, train in winter months with snowboarding, and take the caravan from October to December to Finland, and then head down the Alps for the European Season (end of December right through to Mid April))

What we need is something that can cope with really low temperatures and be set up for long periods.

Has anyone got some ideas of makes that we should be looking at, that is around 2 to 3 years old.

Many thanks Peter (Sussex)

KABE. Bullet proof build and made to deal with Swedish winters.
Brilliant but expensive.
Cheaper if you actually buy in Scandinavia.
I suggest Googling them.

Thank you, Kabe is a good idea, I'll have a look at those online. Initially in seeing their cost wow, but i do agree, they are not cheap, but fit for purpose for our needs. Many thanks

Be aware that there is a length limit applicable in the UK which doesn't apply in Europe - in the UK, vehicles up to 3500 kg Gross VehicleWeight (GVW) can only tow caravans/trailers up to 7m body length, ie excluding the A-frame - no such restriction exists elsewhere and some Kabe's can go up to 12m!

Of course if you're going to buy it abroad, use it abroad and then sell it abroad it's not an issue.

Foreign visitors are allowed to bring oversize caravans into the UK for a holiday up to 6 months but not if you live here.
