Winter covers

First time in 12 years the Wyoming is going to be covered up this winter. The Jury’s out for me on this. But I bought a very good quality make from a friend for £50. Hopefully it will keep the bird mess off. Yes it is a “breathable “ one.
I‘ll let you know next March how it performs.This truly is a first for me in 43 years! Have I gone soft😜😜

DD our caravan always has a breathable cover put on so i hope it works for you 😉

Your getting as soft with the Wyoming as I do with our two 14.5 year old Springers. Coats on in inclement weather……. At that price though why not if it keeps Mother Nature at bay.

Spot on Mel. Sadly the duff knee op is still outstanding. Should have been next week . Now having been bumped for the 4 time looking at January. Sadly I can’t see us going out again before April 😥

Not all covers are good, even the "breathable " ones.
It must fit the van in such a way as to be a snug fit otherwise it can rub against the van and cause damage.
It is worth covering the windows with a fleece material to stop the cover scratching them.
Some people will suggest cling film,,,,,DO NOT USE IT. it reacts with the plastic of the window.
Also wrap any sharp edges, flue vents etc with fleece to stop them rubbing through the cover.

After 43 years without a cover you could have probably done without.

I was astonished last Saturday watching a fellow camper putting a cover on there caravan it was an ordinary blue cover tied down all sides with rope . Either they did not know what it could or did not care about the damage it might do .

We use these on the flue and the aerial so there is no sharp edges before we put our breathable cover on.

Beachball, thanks for the photo but can you confirm exactly what these are? I've used large bubble wrap before but they look much neater.
