The weather at the moment is quite mild for the time of year after the storms earlier, but for those who don't use their tourer all year round but store their caravan during the darker colder months, don't forget to drain it down to prepare it for winter.
The past two years have seen really cold winters which could cause damage to caravan water systems, boilers and cassette toilets unless a thorough drain down procedure is carried out before the cold weather really takes hold.
There are some tips from previous years Here, please feel free to add any other tips and ideas to prevent winter damage to stored caravans.
My tip is, after draining down wind up the jockey wheel to lower the nose of the caravan as far as possible if it is stored outside.
In the event of snow or heavy rain the excess will run off the roof rather than freezing on a flat level caravan roof.

Good advice especially regarding the jockey wheel except that we prefer to raise it slightly so that all the gunk on the roof runs off the rear and not over the front windows.
