winter sites ?

Depends on what you regard as Northern Scotland! Some people regard Aberdeenshire, where I live, in the same category as the Highlands when it comes to postage for items! All of the Council owned sites in Aberdeenshire (which generally are excellent value for money) close at end October. There are some sites open up here but they tend to be CL's where services are limited and, I think, you do have to be a CC member to gain entry. We are looking to get away for New Year but it is always depending on weather!

Cheers

Graeme

The Forestry site at Glenmore is open all year, Grantown on Spey site is open from December onwards (just gives discount for CC members). Or do you mean further north?

try aviemore the high range site is open as well as dalraddy, inverness is only 24 miles away with excellent restaurants and bars well worth a look.
