Hi guys, not anything to do with caravan ing but I’m sure someone will be able to answer, my router has a faulty plug it’s 12v 1amp, I have another I can use that fits fine but it’s 12v 1500 milliamps, long term consequences if any?

Its unlikely there should be a polarity issue but do check.

Most CE marked power supplies will have a polarity indication that looks like one of these

Just check that the new PSU has the same polarity and output voltage .

The new power supply has a 1.5A (1500mA) capability which it just means it has greater capability than the original 1A unit. It will not affect its performance.
