Witter Quantum Tow Bar

Does anyone have one of these towbars? I'm currently looking to put a new towbar on my recently purchased Seat Alhambra and am not sure what to buy. The Quantum looks like a good system but would like to here from anyone about what towbar you have and your comments good or bad so I can make an informed decision! Cheers, Dave.

Hi Dave,

I had a Quantum detatchable on a 2001 Passat, it was an excellent system, I fit it myself and made a bracket to allow the electrics to fold up and the only visible part was a small eye for the breakaway cable.

I now have a Westfalia detatchable on an ML270cdi which is also an excellent system, slightly easier to remove than the Witter but pretty equal on quality, I would recommend either.

Hi - have one of these fitted to my present Alhambra, as it was to my previous one. Works very well. The rotating release "knob" was difficult to press and turn when new, but ok now.
