We've been to Brighton and came home via the Worthing sea front road.

Between Shoreham and Ferring there are mountainous piles of wood from the ship that ran aground a week or two back. Huge mechanical grabs smashing it to pieces as it's scooped up and then huge multi wheeler trucks belching diesel at god knows how much cost trundling along the pebble beach moving it behind expensive hired in security barriers.

Surely the Woodentops in power would have been better off letting people help them selves to whatever they can use or burn.

When the wood is cleared it will have to be sorted and graded if it is still of any use, and at what cost? Do the Woodentops responsible for threatening scavengers with prosecution really think that they are saving money, or is thinking beyond Woodentops

Sad part is it's already written off by the insurers. It's of no use to the timber merchants it was destined for because it's been immersed in sea water but they would rather put it in landfill or burn it than let the local populace have the wood and clear the beach up for free. They are sad, sick ******s. They hate the thought of someone having something for nothing if they can't.
