x-trail twin axle ??

hi,

contemplating upgrading to a twin axle currently drive a nissan xtrail 2.2 dci only a couple of vans close to kerbweight of the x-trail any advice would be appreciated

Usually the older the caravan the lighter it is (that's progress for you) so looking for a model that's a few years old may be a solution. You don't necessarily have to look at maximum weights as packing your X trail (consult your handbook for load carrying) with the heavy stuff may work for you. Try looking at the previous model Bailey Senator; it's quite light for the overall dimensions and a good van too!

Hope this helps.
