Hi, After being a newbie then spending loads on a caravan I'm not gonna be a fair weather camper and want to use it over winter between xmas and new year, But can't seem to decide on a site. Can anyone recommend a site in derbyshire with at least toiletshower facilities? (could use our own but not quite that brave yet) and would be nice to find one with some sort of entertainment or similar nearby but not essential.2 adults 2 kids and large newfoundland to entertain ;-) all replies gratefully received

The Caravan Club site at Chatsworth Park is a pretty good site, standard CC heated shower and toilet block, close to Bakewell for pubs and food, I know it's open over Christmas but I think it closes soon after the New Year.

Have a look on the comments about Rivendale caravan Park (15th Sept), be quick though they get booked up fast.
