The Vanmaster that i have bought has the 10th digit on the CRIS No as the letter W which if i am correct depicts the van to be a 1998 however on the CRIS Document it says 1st registered 1/05/1999.
So, have i purchased a 98 or a 99, someone mentioned it could have been a demo model, does this sound feasable ?

......I would check with Vanmaster whether the model you are importing would have any isues connecting to an Australian mains electricity supply.
That is mainly...........have they fitted any single pole switches?
If they have you may need to replace these.
Good luck with changing all the power sockets in the Vanmaster or are you importing a stock of UK 3 pin plugs ....

Like UK sockets and unlike Continental ones, Australian power sockets are not reversible. Therefore, so long as the Australian EHU plug is connected the right way round, this should not be an issue.

....but are they always connected the right way round (as you put it) at the supply post.
I do not know the wiring code in Australia, but I know the UK code and thought Auspom might like to consider this aspect if he has not already done so.
