There's a little spider who lives inside the drivers door mirror of my Kia Sorento.
Towing back from Cornwall today we stopped for a rest at Taunton Dene services on the M5 and Jasper came out and was busy rebuilding his web between the mirror and the window rubber.
I made sure that he was safely back inside the mirror housing before we continued the other half of the journey home, but Jaspers hard work was in vain because his carefully constructed web didn't survive the journey.
Unloading the car at home Jasper was back out from the mirror housing, rebuilding his web.
I could swear that eight little eyes were giving me a reproachful look. 🕷🕸
He's got nothing to complain about really, he's just been treated to a week in St Ives.

A natural predator for the spider i.e. bird, animal etc has been taken out of the equation?
